Before the tournament the press conference and the group draw took place in the German Embassy in Moscow. The TV channel 360 told about the composition of the groups and the preparation of the stadium for the tournament. Representatives of the embassies informed about the aims of their teams at the tournament.
After the tournament, the Russian Football Association created a video with the highlights of the event:
- Beautiful opening ceremony;
- Welcome speech by the guests of the tournament (including the Head of Khimki Dmitry Voloshin, as well as the Ambassador of Denmark Thomas Winkler, the Ambassador of Germany Rüdiger von Fritsch and the Ambassador of Mexico Norma Pensado Moreno;
- Fragments of the games.
New Khimki Stadium

The first Eight Flags Junior Cup tournament took place at the "New Khimki Stadium".
Children from the Khimki Football School train and play football at this stadium. It has two heated artificial fields, a mini-football field, stands and a football cafe.
The main pitch is surrounded by covered spectator stands and is certified for professional football competitions.
The reconstruction was completed in September 2015. The number of locker rooms was increased, a modern gym, a teaching room, a coaching room and new medical cabinets appeared. The playing surface on the football fields was replaced.
